The AVID program is an academic enhancement in
its second year at East Cobb Middle School. AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a program designed
to offer additional support to selected students so that they will be ready to attend a four-year college upon graduation.
After students are selected to participate, they participate in an environment that nurtures high level thinking skills, collaboration,
and tutorial support for academic classes.
