ECMS offers the magnet IEL (Intensive English Language) Program to all eligible
students from the following middle schools: East Cobb, Daniel, Dickerson, Dodgen, Hightower Trail, Mabry, McCleskey,
Palmer, and Simpson.
75% of 8th grade English as a second language (ESOL) students successfully
completed the requirements for the "Meets the Standard" performance level of the Georgia Middle Grade Writing Assessment Test
(Winter 2007).
