- East Cobb's Science Olympiad team finished their
2006-2007 season as one of the top 20 middle schools in Georgia. Students medaled in 7 events and received ribbons in
19 during the regional and state competitions.
- East Cobb's Science Quizbowl teams placed 1st and 4th in the county
at the Kennesaw State University competition in April 2007.
