Accelerated Math

Additional equipment and software.

• Ten laser printers for the math classrooms.
• Four additional scanners for the Accelerated Math program.
• Added a pre-algebra module to Accelerated Math.

LCD Projectors

Three new LCD projectors.

The Foundation was able to supplement the school's purchase of LCD projectors for the classroom.  We added an additional three projectors to the twenty purchased with SPLOST funds.

• More teachers are now able to share digital lessons.
• Students can share PowerPoint and other multimedia creations.

Carts and Cables

Ancillary A/V components.

Although SPLOST funds will buy equipment, they will not pay for accessories needed to connect or support the equipment.  The Foundation funds allowed the purchase of 23 A/V carts for the new LCD projectors.  Security cables for these carts were also purchased with a donation from the Foundation.

• Carts provide flexibility in the use of the LCD projectors.
• Security cables safeguard the projector as well as the attached laptop computer.
